I grab my camera , headed out the door and was on my way to spend some time with my good friend Aurora, we both are kinda in the same boat as far as our backs go and understanding the pain we Indore. I am glad we have each other’s backs and when we need to vent out and have a laugh .She is such an amazing person , very down to earth and cares alot about the people around her.
She agreed on letting me take some photograph’s of her and we had so much fun ,when she was a Senior I also got the chance to take the pictures and she was my only senior so far, willing to be in the snow and get some photo’s done , it was great. I found these paper umbrella’s at a store near Olga’s in East Grand Rapids and I knew I wanted to use the green one for Aurora , she loves green and it went so well with my idea’s. The sun set perfectly and she is so beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful therapy ,I needed to feel stronger and know that I can do this and having back problems isnt the end of my dreams and what I want to do . You can do anything you put your mind to know that.

The day started when I went to go pick up Jenny up at our grandma’s and it was the cutest thing watching my Grandma having so much fun playing Wii in the lounge at the senior living apartments where she lives, they get so involved in the game and its so much fun and no heavy lifting when you play bowling anymore , so it is so wonderful that Wii is able to be something anyone of all ages can enjoy, So I got to play bowling on Wii with my Grandma for the first time along with Jenny and well my Grandma can kick butt. So along with the day Jenny and I went downtown Grand Rapids , and I just had to bring her to one of my new favorite restaurants downtown , it is called the Electric Cheetah , right on Wealthy. Wonderful place to sit down and enjoy some great food.
Then of course we walked the town and I of course had my camera and Jenny was willing to be a model for me while we walked , it was so fun and once in a life time when it comes to anyone in my family, we aren’t very photogenic for the most part, I dont know why that is but I love taking pictures of them all , they are after all my favorite people in the world and I love them, but I cant be to hard on them because I have the same problem at times, there will be times when I am ready for the pictures and I do enjoy pictures of myself with everyone , it is a point of time in your life that is being captured to remember and I cherish them very much. So of course we went to Blues on the Mall and met up with her mother which is my Aunt of course, My uncle and her love enjoying the music and relaxing downtown , its really something when you see that.
It was a great time and I enjoyed my time with Jenny and everyone. I dont get to see my cousin all that much , I am so proud of her , she did just graduate from MSU, it was a long hard working 4 years and HEY YOU MADE IT AND NOW YOU GET TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND YOU WILL BE ONE OF THE GREATEST TEACHERS I KNOW . I love you and we have our whole lives to learn and grow and have some fun , you were always like a sister to me we grew up since we were babies and I have so many memories with you , you are a wonderful down to earth person.

I wasnt having such luck in my week and due to my back injuries and pain I felt as if my world was upside down in many ways.
I was feeling much better and was so happy to be able to join my friends and watch our friends get married , it was a small wedding and very cute and I just loved watching two people so much in love and happy join together to share their lives . Their vows were so honest and thoughtful and also showing themselves to family and friends. They are a fun couple with smiles on their faces and share the joy of happiness and love to everyone they are close with.
I brought my camera and just started taking pictures as I always do with my friends and family, my camera is everywhere I go , sometimes I like to think of it as my other eye that records my life around me. I wanted to make sure they had pictures from their wedding and their families and friends all pitched in to take pictures to their best ability it was so amazing to see everyone helping each other out through out it all , making the dress, the food, the cake, the pictures, and that is family teamwork. Just seeing how everyone was involved in helping in some way with the wedding to happen and come true was amazing.
Cheers to you Leah and Doug, may all your dreams and everything you go through with one another be amazing as much as you are .

A little girl determent to play with both her bear in her arms and the pink ball in her driveway with a confused expression on her face and all the while I was just trying to capture her in these moments , I took this photograph before it started to snow and I was going through my pictures and brought it up again and started working on it and realized why I was working on it, I miss the nice warm weather and being out doors , instead due to the cold weather stuck inside, unless of course building a snowman out front. I find it interesting how so little can bring joy to a child and its one of the best things in the world to see it within a child and I remember myself how the little things brought me joy , they still do and always will in some ways but its not the same feeling I once had when I was young. She is my best friends daughter and I love her and I see so much of my best friend within her and when we were growing up even though we were in middle school but even then simpler things brought the joys to our faces. I see the love she has for her daughter and in some ways I understand it , as if in some way that love she has for her is also the little things in life that bring out the best within you and the joys. This is just a snap shot on one warm fall day of my niece in her driveway

The beauty of watching two young people in love and happy sharing their lives together and saying the I do ’s and inviting their families and friends that are close to their hearts to share their love they have towards one another and becoming one with each other , I was very happy to have gotten the chance to meet all the wonderful people at their wedding and witness and capture everyone moments and the bride and groom’s day
the laughs amongst friends and family , and the happy tears with the maid of honor and bride and parents and grand parents, aunts and uncles.
It reminded me of my best friend’s wedding two years ago , and I was the maid of honor as well so seeing the speeches and the dances and the tears between everyone made me remember when I was in that place and how special it is to have that day and to see your best friend marring their love and (hopes) lives happily ever after. To Brad and Sarah may your love grow strong after each day and hold each other close and watch each other grow , and to my best friend Michelle, I am so glad I could be there for you and only wish I can be there more and I hope you will be there when I get married some day :]
To everyone that has that special person and everyone that hasn’t met that person yet and to the families and friends that keep us laughing and smiling , I hope the best to everyone :]

My friends and I went downtown, Grand Rapids, It was my friends Kyle and Aurora, along with Larry and we went to see people going to see the rally, I didn’t understand what it was all about so I stayed up all night with my friends, grabbed some coffee and my handy camera and sat in line in the cold weather for about 6 hours. Just seeing how everyone was getting together to see this man speak. It was my first political rally I have ever attended and it was a great way to see how people involved their time and efforts, seeing parents with their children and just seeing people with different backgrounds coming together for their cause, quite an inspiration.

On Sept. 17th 2008 there was a fire off of burlingame ave with the swiss vally apartments, I was on my way back eating dinner with my family for my mother’s birthday and saw the smoke, so I grabbed my camera and went to see what was going on. It is so sad seeing all the families that were effected by the fire and standing around outside of their apartments and waiting, the firemen were working very hard trying to make sure everything was safe and the fire was out
