I wasnt having such luck in my week and due to my back injuries and pain I felt as if my world was upside down in many ways.

I was feeling much better and was so happy to be able to join my friends and watch our friends get married , it was a small wedding and very cute and I just loved watching two people so much in love and happy join together to share their lives . Their vows were so honest and thoughtful and also showing themselves to family and friends. They are a fun couple with smiles on their faces and share the joy of happiness and love to everyone they are close with.

I brought my camera and just started taking pictures as I always do with my friends and family, my camera is everywhere I go , sometimes I like to think of it as my other eye that records my life around me. I wanted to make sure they had pictures from their wedding and their families and friends all pitched in to take pictures to their best ability it was so amazing to see everyone helping each other out through out it all ,  making the dress, the food, the cake, the pictures, and that is family teamwork. Just seeing how everyone was involved in helping in some way with the wedding to happen and come true was amazing.

Cheers to you Leah and Doug, may all your dreams and everything you go through with one another be amazing as much as you are .

Thinking

Photography has been apart of my life since I could remember, it has been the only thing I can seprate myself from everyone else, it gives me a peace of mind, when I pick of my camera, I am not even me anymore I become a piece of art , how do I word this , I feel as if it is greater than what I could ever do. A photograph once captured, it is there to look at and think back at that particular day and even seeing yourself as you were and look at how much you have became as a person. I love being a part of someone else’s memory of themselves and express the beauty of their lives within a given photograph. Even going out with my friends and getting dressed up or even putting crazy makeup on and making up a story line and getting into character is something we have always done together and enjoying our goofiness.

How I view photography is like taking the inner beauty of someone or something and expressing it to the world with understanding with that one image.

sharing your time and seeing where everyone around you is in their lives is a captured moment in time.

My passion

Photography is my Passion , it became my life, when I am holding a camera it makes me feel as if I am someone else. What I can do, becomes my control and what I see, I feel like I have an eye for what I am doing .It’s hard to explain how I work with the camera and what I see and how I take that image and it’s what I saw with my own eyes. Its something you have to take within , and relax and flow with life and time . To capture a person’s expression at any moment of time is something people take for granted , you see it then it is gone in a second, but to make that second last longer is amazing.
What I get from taking my photographs is the people, to see something within that person and making come alive with a photograph. Also you can see at what point of time, what you were doing, where you were, what you looked like, its amazing to look back and see what you were, and what you are now. To capture the natural state of a human being, it tells a story, whether happy or sad, what I try to do with my photography is capturing the moments, but then also combining studio pieces within the natural states. Getting the real smile might take a little longer, you have to get to know someone , and that comes along in photography, someone that is not used to having photographs taken of them, get nervous, want to look good, doesn’t know how to react. You just have to talk them through it, as well making them comfortable as if there is no camera involved .
How I take my pictures is creative , and you have to have a creative mind to see what you are looking for in that photograph. As well as knowing your camera, and the object that is the main subject , like a spot light , and blocking out everything else, in order to have a great picture is also the background, does everything go for what that person stands for , does it some how reflect a pond them .
What do you see when you look at a photograph, what makes it a great image , a piece of art ?
When you look at a picture you see the story being told without words being said.
You see the beauty of the scene, of the person , a piece of their lives being shared.

Photo journalist is what I would like to be called, but yet a portrait photographer as well.
